About Us

Our History

Our Mission is simple – Better Batteries, Better World™

Advanced Battery Concepts is focused on providing the energy storage solutions we all need for a clean future.

Advanced Battery Concepts is focused on providing the energy storage solutions we all need for a clean future.

Since our founding, Advanced Battery Concepts has addressed how to accelerate the adoption of clean energy solutions with better batteries. We recognized that any energy storage technology must be economically responsible, socially responsible, and environmentally responsible to truly change the way energy is stored. And that’s exactly what our advanced bipolar battery technology achieves.

Over the last decade, we have re-engineered how batteries are designed and manufactured. The result is the most affordable energy solution that can be implemented across the globe. Our technology is protected with a broad intellectual property portfolio of over 55 patents and 40 trades secrets in every key country.

Our advanced bipolar batteries use common materials that are cost-effective, safe and available. More importantly, we have designed the system to be easily disassembled at the end-of-service life in order to recover and reuse key components and active materials over and over again.

Our core technology developments are now complete. We are rapidly commercializing energy solutions across the globe in multiple markets. With our licensing partners, we are deploying this technology in traditional motive and stationary applications. At ABC, we are installing energy storage solutions for residential and commercial systems providing stored electricity at costs 40% lower than any other available battery solution.

All of us at Advanced Battery Concepts are excited about the future and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.
And remember – Better Batteries, Better World™.

Our Values

What makes a Better Battery

Our responsibilities to you….products, technology and services that are:

Economically Responsible

Energy storage systems must be affordable to ensure wide-spread adoption. Our present storage solution is 20% lower cost than other technologies with future projections of 80% lower, ABC’s technology is providing a viable solution that can be implemented throughout the world.

Socially Responsible

Social Responsibility can encompass many aspects of a business and its products.  We define and deliver our social responsibly under many names: Safety — in manufacturing, delivering and in owning/operating our products; Accessibility – our products are available around the world for all communities; Universality – we enforce ethical labor practices for all our materials.

Environmentally Responsible

Advanced Battery Concepts GreenSeal® Technology presents lesser carbon emissions than other energy storage products, plus it is based on the lead battery industry’s ecosystem, making it one of the most recycled products in the world. No more costly mining!  In addition, ABC’s EverGreenSeal® Technology goes one step further, reusing a majority of its own material composition, making an ever-larger reduction in our carbon footprint!
